Join internationally renowned nature & wildlife photographer Jeroen Stel on his group workshops and you'll experience a whole new world that's just waiting to be discovered.
Our regular nature & wildlife photography workshops generally begin around 10.00 hours the morning of the scheduled day at a nature reserve in Harmelen (between Woerden and Utrecht NL). Approximately one-half day of formal instruction will occur in a classroom setting (unless noted otherwise in the specific workshop description), with a break for lunch and early afternoon spent critiquing the participants' images that they brought with them. We generally limit our workshops to no more than eight to ten participants so that everyone receives a significant amount of one-on-one attention. After the one-half day in the classroom, the remainder of each workshop is spent in the field, over the camera.
Jeroen will most often have his camera in the field and set up images. We do that to give you, the participant, the opportunity to see what the instructor would be picking from the particular location to shoot and how he would compose it.
With our cameras,and resultant in-camera meters, in the field, it also helps assure that the participants are getting the proper exposures. However, Jeroen is there to help the participants as much as possible. Your instructor will look through everyone's cameras as often as possible and talk to individuals and to the group as needed to assure a learning experience. The workshop ends around 16.30 hours but everyone is free to stay at the nature reserve where the workshop is being hosted untill sunset.

Our theme-based nature & wildlife photography workshops generally begin around 09.00 hours the morning of the scheduled day at the nature reserve of choice. Approximately one hour of formal instruction will occur in the field (unless noted otherwise in the specific workshop description), with time for a camera and equippement introduction. We generally limit our workshops to no more than eight to ten participants so that everyone receives a significant amount of one-on-one attention. After the technical instruction in the field, the remainder of each workshop is spent in the field on the specific theme(s).

Besides hosting his own workshops Jeroen Stel is also regularly engaged in hosting workshops for third parties. As such you will be offered exactly the same experience and knowledge as on his own workshops.
The workshops hosted for third parties will generally begin around 09.00 hours the morning of the scheduled day at the location of choice by the hosting third party. Approximately one hour of formal instruction will occur in the field or at our hosts location (unless noted otherwise in the specific workshop description), with time for a camera and equippement introduction. We generally limit our workshops for others to no more than eight to twelve participants so that everyone receives a significant amount of one-on-one attention. After the technical instruction in the field, the remainder of each workshop is spent in the field on the specific theme(s) or subject.
